Question: Can the read out data from read function of PSoC Programmer be saved as .hex file to program another PSoC devices?
Answer:
No, It is not possible to read out the hex file from existing hardware that was already programmed to be used to program another blank devices. However, the readout data using read function of PSoC Programmer gives us the raw format data stored in the PSoC flash. You can read this data provided that the flash security settings allow you to do so. The readout isn't a hex file in itself, but copy the readout data and can make a hex file using the Appendix B of AN2026A, which shows the format of the hex file generated by PSoC Designer.
