Question: Can OvationONS detect 3 axes motion?
Answer: No, CYONS2xxx can't perform 3-axes detection (x,y,z); it is designed typically for broad surface coverage applications. Examples are laser optical mice, Optical Finger Navigation in Tablet PCs, Handsets, Keyboards, handheld gaming devices, Remote Controls, etc. It only can detect motion in 2 axes (x,y directions).For more detailed information about CYONS2xxx, please read datasheets/TRM.
