Question: How can a varying output voltage of 1 to 5.5 volts be implemented?
Answer:
Our part is configured to have 0 -> 3.3V output swing. To get the desired voltage swing, you will need to add a termination network. You can try using the CY22800 - Instaclock with a 3.3V supply and add an inverter like 74LX1G70 or 74LX1G04 from ST, or similar offerings from TI, NXP (PicoGate), etc to get the 1V to 5.5V output.
