Question: Will applying Vdd or Vss to the input of a continuous time block damage it?
Response: Applying Vdd or Vss to the input of a continuous time block will not damage it, but the output will be limited because of the drive capability of the internal op-amp. The input limitations for the opamp are Vss-0.5V to Vdd+0.5V. For the output range of the internal op-amp see the DC Operational Amplifier Specification section of the datasheet for the PSoC device in question.
