Question: Does the AN2131 development board require an external power supply?
Answer: Jumpers on the AN2131 development board allows for powering the board from either an external 5 volt power source or from the USB port. If jumpered for power from the USB port no external supply is required. If an external 5 volt power source is desired you would connect the external 5 volt power source to J2 pin 1 (GND) and pin 3 (5 Volts), then connect J4 pin 1 to J4 pin 2 leaving J4 pin3 open.
