Question: In the EZ Loader application note there are two inf files. What is the difference between the two inf files?
Answer: In the "EZ Loader application note" the WIDGET INF File takes care binding the C0 load VID/PID to the driver generated by ezloader method. After the firmware is downloaded and the device is renumerated the same inf file takes care of binding it to ezusb.sys.
In the case of Widget Firmware/Device Driver Update INF File it takes care of binding the device which already has the firmware to ezusb.sys. So in this case for binding the C0 load VID/PID to the driver generated by ezloader method we’ll need another inf file.
