Question: What should be the buffer setting for packet size = 2, 1 , for isochronous transfer for FX2?
Answer:
For Packet Size = 2, Size = 1, either the buffer setting should be increased by 2 (to 4) or the frames/buffer should be increased to 16. Using a USB 2.0 bus analyzer to view the activity for this configuration, all the packets are sent if Buffer = 4 or Frames/buffer = 16. If Buffer = 2 and Frames/buffer = 8, half the packets only get sent by the host. For other packet sizes and number of packets, Buffer = 2 and Frames/buffer = 16 works well.
