Question: Can you interface CYRF7936 with PSoC or any processor and use it interface with USB port on PC ?
Answer:
The CYRF7936 is a transceiver (Tx and Rx). The CYRF7936 is a standalone radio with a SPI interface that can be connected to any processor with SPI and then the processor would interface to USB on the PC. Cypress recommends to use a PSoC for your microprocessor because the protocol is designed for the PSoC and the CYRF7936. PSOC will interface to the RF chip via SPI and also have USB connectivity to the Host (if CY8C24x94 device is used).
