Question: I'm using of CSR technology in my wall mounted devices. Every once in a while (day's, week's) touch interface stops sensing and the user must reconnect the device to continue work.
Response: The CapSense sensor can stop working in rare cases due to user firmware or marginal project settings, and this will show itself during the development process. CSR is the first CapSense solution that Cypress brought to market. CSD and CSA are second generation solutions that have higher SNR and lower susceptibility to noise compared to CSR. Your problems may go away by upgrading to a newer Capsense method. Adding Autosensor Reset or a Watchdog Timer may solve your problem too.
