Question: In CyFiSNP protocol, can we change the communication channel of the radio?
Answer:
No, the communication channel of the radio cannot be changed. The channel hopping is done by the CyFi protocol. The hub continuously listens for data packets from nodes. The hub monitors the interference level and moves to ping mode if the RSSI (Receive Signal Strength Index) interference threshold RSSI_NOISE_THRESHOLD is reached. This ensures that the hub is operating on a quiet channel and is capable of receiving node packets.
