How to calculate mean time between failures (MTBF)?
Answer:
The formula for calculating the MTBF(mean time between failures) is 1/FIT. FIT stands for failure in time. The FIT rate for a particular part can be found in the qual report, which can be obtained off the cypress website in qualification report in the part number page.
