Question: What is the maximum capacity hard drive that the EZ-USB AT2LP can address?
Answer:
Since the EZ-USB AT2LP is designed to the ATA/ATAPI-6 specification, it can use 48 bit addressing. Therefore the maximum addressable LBAs would be 281,474,976,710,655 *512 bytes/sector = 144e15 bytes or 144 peta bytes. The operating system and BIOS of a given computer may limit the user to smaller disk sizes than this (contact manufacturer of your OS and BIOS to understand these limitations).
