Question: How is the DAC implemented inside PSoC?
Answer: The DAC user modules are built using Switched Capacitor Blocks (SC Blocks) configured as Programmable Gain Amplifier. The input to the amplifier is VREFHI and the magnitude of output voltage is controlled by changing the ratio of the input and feedback capacitors. The sign of the output is controlled by changing the phase of operation of the input and feedback switched capacitor cells.
