Question: Can a buffer larger than 64 bytes be used on the FIFOs?
Answer:
In full-speed mode, the packet scales the buffer to 64 for bulk and interrupt transfers. For ISO, the packets will be 1023. Using multiple buffers will help, but a packet buffer will be 64 (bulk and INT) and for ISO, 1023. For high speed the packet can be larger. Bulk packets can be 512 bytes, interrupt packets can be 1024 and ISO packets can be 1024.
