Compact Flash (CF) media change detection with the CY4611 board.

Question: Compact Flash (CF) media change is not always detected with the CY4611 board.why?Answer:

Many CompactFlash devices do not tie the CE1# signal directly to ground. Some of these devices will not pull CD1# strongly enough to pull the voltage divider below V_IL. To address this issue change R18 to 2.2K. Cypress has made a BOM change on boards produced after May 2003 to address this issue.This issue is also fixed in CY4611B http://www.cypress.com/?rID=14406
