Burst and NoBL SRAM access

Question: What do you mean by 2-1-1-1 and 3-1-1-1 accesses which you show for Sync Burst and NoBL SRAMs?

 

Answer:

 A Pipelined Sync Burst/NoBL SRAM access is of type 3-1-1-1 and a Flowthru Sync Burst/NoBL is of type 2-1-1-1 since a read takes three clock cycles from an interface point of view and thereafter takes only one clock cycle for each subsequent read(or burst). A Flowthru Sync Burst/NoBL is of type 2-1-1-1 since a read takes two clock cycles from an interface point of view and thereafter takes only one clock cycle for each subsequent read(or burst).
