Question: My product is a HID device and once I download the firmware to the part using the CyConsole, I lose communication with the part. The CyConsole does not talk to the device anymore. Why?
Answer: Once a device enumerates as a HID device, the HID drivers are loaded and you can no longer use CyConsole to talk tot he device. The CyConsole can only talk to a device bound with CyUSB.sys or a renamed version of the same.It cannot talk to a device bound to the HID driver . Hence you need to use the HIDview to talk to the device. You can download this from the www.usb.org.(under developers tab).
