Question: Why can't i see any Analog or digital blocks in the chip editor of PSoC Designer?
Answer:
If you are unable to view the analog or digital blocks, device catalog or the interconnect view in chip editor of PSoC designer(any version), the problem might be due to the following reasons:
1. Adobe SVG viewer which is required for viewing the chip editor might not be installed or It might have been corrupted . For this, Re-install SVG Viewer which is attached along with this Article.
2. Ensure that IE7 or higher versions of IE(Internet Explorer) is present and IE8 Beta or IE9 beta versions are not the installed IE versions. (IE8 & IE9 released versions work fine with Designer 5.1)
3. Verify that Local IT is not blocking IE, SVG viewer or Designer. This problem can be fixed by adding "psocdesigner.exe" and "cmx.exe" to the 'Allow List' in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_LOCALMACHINE_LOCKDOWN
