Question: What should be the characteristic impedance and minimum trace spacing of the GPIF II lines?
Answer:
The characteristic impedance should be 50 to 60 ohms for the single-ended signals. The space between the lines should be between 8 and 10 mils for a trace of less than 500 mils.
Please note that the length of GPIF II lines should be length-matched within 500 mils.
