Question: Can the General Programmable Interface II (GPIF™ II) block of FX3 operate in the full-duplex mode (send and receive data simultaneously)?
Answer:
No. The GPIFII block of FX3 can operate in only half-duplex mode. You can either send or receive data at any time.
You can configure it for a maximum of 32-bit data bus width and maximum operating clock of 100 MHz, giving you a peak data throughput of 400 MBps.
