How do you minimize power consumption when a BLE device is in the scanning state?
When a BLE device is configured to behave as a scanner, the power consumption can be minimized by reducing the scan window and increasing the scan interval. Reducing the scan window will reduce the time duration for which the receiver is turned on. Increasing the scan interval will reduce the frequency at which the device scans, thereby lowering the current consumption. This power reduction comes at the expense of longer connection establishment time.
