Why does the checksum mismatch error occur in CapSense tuner?
When you run the tuner, you may get the following message “Checksum mismatch for the data stored in the device”
The CapSense tuner requires the checksum stored in the device to match with the checksum from the tuner. When a mismatch occurs, this above error is displayed.
One of the possible reason is if you set sub-address as 8-bit in the EZI2C Component and 16-bit in tuner configuration. You should always set the sub-address to 16-bits.
