Question: Can a ZDB fix bad duty cycle?
Answer:
Yes, the ZDB can be used for duty cycle correction up to datasheet duty cycle spec. This is possible because the PLL works by detecting the rising edges. The correction is sent to the VCO. The VCO will generate the output and is independent of input duty cycle.
