Question: What is the function of the low-value resistor in series with the Vcc to the CY7C63743 in your CY4622 reference design schematic?
Answer: This 1.5 Ohm resistor helps with inrush current. This is extra protection that we put in the design. In fact, we have never had any problem with inrush current with or without this resistor.
