The UrslaLeo cloud-based Heart Rate Monitor represents an IoT mini eco-system that can be leveraged to measure and report human heart rate activity from multiple patients.
The system is Linux based and features a certified Murata 1DX partner module powered by a Cypress CYW4343W (2.4GHz, 802.11b/g/n, BT/BLE) SoC and an NXP i.MX UltraLite processor which host all the stacks, Wi-Fi driver, application and is used to drive the radio over SDIO (Wi-Fi) and UART (BLE) interfaces.

Software Functionality is provided by the following custom elements running at each station:
On-board business logic converts heart rate data to text and issues remote command for speech synthesis on gateway for each event. Every 15 seconds, the gateway verbalizes the result and transmits next series of data.
